First Render Study

I found this quick rendering of a sushi bare in the book "Interior Design Visual Presentation". I'm going to attempt to do a master study of a more refined area, preferably more of the right side. I would like to capture the line quality/brush stroke, the loose gestural marks, the overlaying of color, and the color gradation that is best applied in the reflective flooring. To do this digitally I plan to play around with the custom art brushes and hopefully a blob brush with a wacom tablet.
